Available in two versions, with and without a case, and packed with advanced features, the Gryphon 4500 Fixed Series stationary scanners are designed to meet the needs of a variety of industries and applications: Whether for barcode scanning in self-service kiosks or as OEM barcode readers in machine building.
Thanks to an IP54 seal and high resistance to shock, as well as a UV-resistant output window, the GFS4500 scan module is well protected in all applications. The rugged device thus ensures smooth operation for many years.
The USB-only version features a standard micro USB connector with a sturdy locking clip to ensure a secure connection. For even more versatility, the RS-232 and USB + RS-232 models have integrated interface cables and support input voltages from 5 to 14 VDC.
Wide-angle optics with high motion tolerance enable fast scanning. To accomplish this, the Gryphon 4500 Fixed Series uses state-of-the-art megapixel technology with distinctive red or white illumination to ensure continuous and reliable reading performance. The fast internal processor in combination with the sophisticated decoding algorithms enables trouble-free reading of 1D or 2D barcodes, even on cell phone displays.
