Datalogic Matrix 220 – From 1D Barcodes to Direct Part Markings
The Datalogic Matrix 220 industrial scanner not only captures printed 1D and 2D barcodes at high speed. Even the smallest Direct Part Markings (DPM) and invisible Digimarc codes can be scanned extraordinarily reliably with the innovative illumination system.
The new multi-core processor platform enables high reading speeds and the capture of very detailed barcodes. Especially for high-speed applications, the stationary industrial scanner has a High Dynamic Range (HDR) capability. The Datalogic Matrix 220 achieves maximum flexibility with an electronic focus, so adjustments to the reading distance can be made easily via the software.
Multiple colour and intensity options are available for illumination, ranging from intense white for applications requiring very high contrast, to polarised and diffuse red and blue for capturing DPM codes on different surfaces. The Datalogic Matrix 220 is also available with ESD protection and laser light filter.
With IP67 and IP65 protection against liquids and dust, the rugged scanner can be used in temperatures as low as -10 °C. The compact design and rotatable cable connectors simplify installation in confined environments. State-of-the-art connectivity ensures Power over Ethernet and the OPC UA protocol for Industry 4.0 applications.
