Terms and Conditions
The organiser of the competition is Barcotec GmbH, Julius-Welser-Straße 15, 5020 Salzburg, Austria. The competition is open to individuals aged 18 or over who are resident in Austria or whose business is based in Austria. Employees of Barcotec GmbH and any persons involved in the organisation of the competition are excluded from taking part. Entry is made by completing and submitting the survey in full and providing the contact details required for the administration of the competition.
The competition runs from 23 March 2026 to 23 April 2026. Entries received after this period cannot be considered.
The prize will be drawn at random from all entries received in full and eligible for participation. The prize is: 1 Auto-ID in a warehouse set. The winner will be notified by email after the competition has ended. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Barcotec reserves the right to select a new winner. Cash payment, exchange or transfer of the prize to other persons is excluded. The decision is final. Barcotec reserves the right to terminate the competition early or to amend it for important reasons, should this be necessary.
Privacy notice regarding the competition
In connection with the survey and the prize draw, Barcotec processes the personal data you provide solely for the purpose of conducting the survey, administering the prize draw and notifying the winner. Typically, this relates in particular to your email address and the information you provide in the survey, where applicable.
Your data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the conduct and administration of the prize draw or where statutory retention obligations apply. Thereafter, the data will be deleted or anonymised, provided there is no other legal basis for further processing. Data will only be disclosed to third parties to the extent necessary for the conduct of the competition, for example to contracted service providers who assist Barcotec with technical or organisational aspects. You have the right at any time to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, and to data portability within the framework of legal requirements. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
