The QuickScan from Datalogic presents itself as extremely attractive both technologically and in terms of price. Primarily suitable for point-of-sale, codes are captured from mobile phone displays in seconds.

The innovative illumination and aiming system reduces visual strain and is easy on the eyes even on workdays with frequent scanning. The patented "Green Spot" technology as a read confirmation provides a distinctive visual stimulus. In addition to 2D codes, linear barcodes are also read - even directly from the customer card or mobile phone display at the point of sale.

The Datalogic QuickScan features the Datalogic STAR wireless system with simple point-to-point connectivity and enhanced flexibility. The wireless connection is secure and does not interfere with existing Wi-Fi infrastructure. The Bluetooth variant allows data to be transmitted via the base station to the host or any other Bluetooth-enabled device. A connection to tablets, Windows, Android or iOS based, is possible via Bluetooth HID technology.
