The Datalogic Magellan 3700HSi has been designed for checkouts and open counter areas where speed, reliability and a tidy workspace are crucial. As a horizontal built-in scanner, it takes up little space and helps to reduce waiting times and make the checkout process more pleasant for staff and customers alike.

The advanced imaging technology ensures high reading speed, strong motion tolerance and reliable capture on the first pass. Even codes from smartphone displays, as well as damaged or poorly printed labels, are read reliably.

The strength of the Datalogic Magellan 3700HSi lies in its versatile scanning capabilities: the scanner captures 1D and 2D codes, GS1 Digital Link, OCR and Digimarc, and, depending on the model, can also read and write UHF RFID tags. This makes the device suitable not only for traditional scanning at the checkout, but also for further processes such as traceability and loss prevention. The integrated image processing offers additional possibilities for capturing, for example, ID cards for age verification. On certain models, a 1-MP colour video camera is also available, which can be used for security applications or for product recognition.

The compact scanner is also state-of-the-art when it comes to integration: multiple interfaces, USB-C Power Delivery, an additional powered USB port and the IoT Remote Management Platform facilitate integration, maintenance and centralised management.

When it comes to sustainability, the Datalogic Magellan 3700HSi is designed with the future in mind: the device is made from 85% recycled plastic and is supplied in packaging made from 100% recycled material. At the same time, its energy-efficient design, consuming just 1.8 watts in operation, supports resource-conserving use.
