With Android 10, and guaranteed updates to versions 11 and 12, the Datalogic Skorpio X5 offers a modern and future-proof software platform. With pre-installed additional apps and optimal mobile device management compatibility, maximum efficiency and security are achieved. To enable complex applications to be operated without waiting times, the mobile computer has a powerful processor and memory as well as WLAN and Bluetooth of the latest generation.

On the 4.3-inch display, which is protected against knocks and scratches, even extensive information can be grasped at a glance and is easy to read even in direct sunlight. Images from the 13 MP camera can also be optimally displayed, a particularly practical feature for easy documentation of tasks and damage. Available with a choice of 28, 38 or 47 keys and the latest 1D or 2D barcode scanning engines, the Datalogic Skorpio X5 can also be fitted with a Gun Grip. The Extra Long Range version captures barcodes at a distance of up to 20 metres. The device is protected against drops from up to 1.8 metres and sealed against liquids and dust according to the IP65 standard.

A unique innovation in this class of device is contactless fast charging. This eliminates the need for cleaning and maintenance of charging contacts. The Smart Battery Management System and the Hot Swap capability also ensure long runtimes and uninterrupted use.
