The Zebra WS501 is a true wearable complete solution for warehouses, logistics and production: employees wear only a single device and can use it to capture data and process it directly – without an additional mobile computer or barcode scanner. This saves weight, reduces complexity in everyday use and makes processes noticeably faster, for example when picking, sorting or loading and unloading.

The bright 2-inch AMOLED touch display ensures easy operation, remains highly readable even in changing light conditions and is also energy-efficient. This allows employees to keep an eye on orders, item information and feedback at all times – directly on their finger or on the back of their hand, depending on how they wear it. The WS501 can be worn on either the left or right hand. With 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory, the WS501 can run multiple apps in parallel – including fast response and rapid screen updates.

At its core is Zebra's SE4770 enterprise scanner: it scans 1D and 2D barcodes quickly and reliably – even if labels are damaged or the print quality is not perfect. If required, all barcodes on a label can be captured with a single trigger, formatted appropriately and transferred directly to your application. Even multiple labels on multiple boxes and items can be processed quickly and with few errors. This increases the scan rate, reduces rework and supports high throughput during peak times.

Practical for shift work: thanks to the hot-swappable battery, the battery can be changed without turning off the device. And for quick consultations, push-to-talk is possible via an integrated microphone and speaker – queries are clarified immediately, reducing travel and waiting times. With Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, the WS501 is also designed for modern, stable wireless environments.

The WS501 also impresses in harsh environments: IP65 protection, drop resistance up to 1.8 metres and a robust design make it a reliable companion in daily operation – with low total cost of ownership over its lifetime.
