Honeywell PSS becomes part of Brady

First things first: the most important news for Barcotec customers is this – if you already use Honeywell mobile computers, barcode scanners or label printers, the takeover will have no immediate impact on your day-to-day operations. And, of course, Barcotec will remain your trusted partner for the Honeywell and Brady product ranges.

Tried-and-tested equipment and solutions will be retained

Brady Corporation has acquired Honeywell’s Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) business unit. Going forward, this will operate under the name Brady Intelligent Productivity Solutions (Brady IPS). Honeywell’s established portfolio of mobile computers, barcode scanners, RFID solutions, printing systems and software will remain in place; for the time being, the devices will continue to be marketed under the Honeywell name.

Brady has more than 110 years’ experience in the fields of marking, labelling, printing systems and security solutions. The publicly listed company remains closely linked to its founding family to this day. With net turnover of around US$2.6 billion, more than 9,400 employees and customers in over 160 countries, Brady now operates worldwide. Combining this with Honeywell PSS’s expertise in mobile data capture, scanning, RFID and workflow software creates an even more comprehensive range of solutions for logistics, manufacturing, retail and other sectors.
