mCloud helps LEHA get through the summer season safely and efficiently

As temperatures rise, the busiest time of the year begins for manufacturers of sun protection solutions. This is precisely why LEHA Sonnenschutz & Vorhangschienen has modernised its mobile processes in collaboration with Barcotec. The aim was to find a solution that would make a real difference to delivery staff in their day-to-day work: a single device for scanning, making calls and carrying out tasks – simple, reliable and secure.

A solution for communication and mobile SAP processes

The challenge was clear: delivery staff needed a mobile solution that supported browser-based SAP applications and could also be used as a communication device. It was also important that the devices could be managed and secured centrally. Systems must function reliably and be available at all times, particularly when used in the field.

Before a decision was made, hardware and management solutions from various providers were tested. Practical tests revealed that many approaches did not fully meet the requirements. In some cases, the hardware could not be deployed as intended; in others, the necessary management and support capabilities were lacking.

Rapid implementation and personalised support

LEHA particularly highlights its collaboration with Barcotec’s mCloud team. Requirements were met swiftly and the devices were up and running within a short space of time.

Further expansion phases already planned

The collaboration between LEHA and Barcotec is set to be further expanded: in future, mobile devices in the warehouse will also be equipped with mCloud. This will enable maintenance, support and security updates to be carried out centrally. At the same time, LEHA is laying the foundations for stable and efficient device operation across the entire company.

This successful project demonstrates how modern device management solutions not only advance companies technologically, but also make day-to-day work significantly easier – particularly during busy periods when everything needs to run smoothly. This allows production, logistics and IT managers to focus on their core business, whilst Barcotec ensures the secure, efficient and trouble-free operation of the mobile infrastructure.
