Every step can be clearly and concisely displayed on the bright 8.6-inch HD screen. Status LEDs and speakers provide immediate feedback, whilst the 5-MP front camera and microphones enable contact with a live or virtual assistant when needed. This creates an accessible service point that reduces waiting times and takes the pressure off staff.
For reliable data capture, the terminal is equipped with a powerful Datalogic scan module. Green Spot technology visually confirms successful scans directly on the barcode; this builds trust and speeds up processes such as price checking, identification or document capture. NFC and Bluetooth 5.3 expand the range of applications, for example for badge verification or contactless login.
Installation is also flexible: the device can be mounted on walls or furniture using a VESA 75 bracket and is powered either via PoE or a standard power supply. Wi-Fi 6E and Gigabit Ethernet ensure a stable connection to existing systems. With Android 15, upgradeability up to Android 19 and the Datalogic Mobility Suite, the Smart Portal can be securely configured, operated in kiosk mode and kept up to date in the long term.
