Zebra KC401 – a modern kiosk computer for self-service and digital processes

The Zebra KC401 is a versatile Android kiosk computer designed for self-service applications in the retail, hospitality and healthcare sectors, as well as in logistics and manufacturing. The 10.1-inch touchscreen display offers a clear user interface for customers and staff and can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation, depending on the application. Programmable LED bars provide additional support for user guidance and status indication.

Typical applications range from price and stock enquiries, through point-of-sale applications, returns, check-in and time and attendance, to access control. For automatic data capture, the KC401 can be fitted with an optional 1D/2D scanner. Alternatively, the integrated 5-megapixel front-facing camera is available. NFC enables, amongst other things, identification via cards as well as contactless payment, ticketing and loyalty applications.

For modern corporate networks, the KC401 offers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. Power-over-Ethernet enables both data transmission and power supply via the network cabling, simplifying installation at locations without a separate power socket. Universal VESA mounts provide additional flexibility during installation.

With a Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash storage, the KC401 offers a modern hardware platform for Android-based enterprise applications. The IP65-rated housing is designed for intensive daily use.
