Rugged tablet and in-vehicle terminal

The Brady RT71 forklift terminal combines a robust industrial tablet with the capabilities of a vehicle-mounted terminal. When mounted on a forklift, it provides access to transport orders, storage locations and stock levels. For checks, stock-takes or the documentation of damaged goods, staff simply remove the device from its mount. This ensures that applications and information are available exactly where they are needed.

The 10.1-inch display offers plenty of space for warehouse management and production applications. With a brightness of 1,000 nits, it remains clearly legible even in bright ambient light. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the surface. The IP66 and IP68-rated housing is resistant to dust and water, as well as multiple drops from up to 2.4 metres at room temperature. A version rated down to −30 °C is available for cold stores and deep-freeze warehouses. Optional heaters for the display and scanner window support use in cold conditions.

Wi-Fi 7 and 5G enable access to operational systems both indoors and outdoors. Depending on the configuration, integrated barcode scanners track goods and storage locations. Front and rear cameras complement data capture, for example for condition checks or damage assessments. Additional devices, such as mobile printers, can be connected via Bluetooth. The Mobility Edge platform forms the basis for long-term enterprise use. Support is planned for Android 16 through to Android 20, subject to technical and commercial feasibility as well as the relevant warranty or service terms.

Replaceable batteries with capacities of 10,000 or 20,000 mAh are available for long working days. The hot-swap function allows batteries to be replaced whilst the device is in use. Vehicle mounts, external keyboards and carrying accessories allow the RT710 to be adapted to different work environments.
