Honeywell Granit Ultra 2100i & 2105i – Rugged industrial scanners for warehouses, production and logistics
The Honeywell Granit Ultra 2100i and 2105i barcode scanners are designed for particularly demanding working environments. They are ideal for areas where scanners are used intensively on a daily basis and must function reliably at all times – such as in goods-in, order picking, production, dispatch or distribution centres.
The Granit Ultra series is engineered for maximum robustness. The scanners can withstand drops from heights of up to 3 m, as well as 7,500 drops from 1 m, and are protected against dust and water to IP65 and IP68 standards. They remain reliable and operational even in cold or hot conditions, in difficult lighting conditions or when subjected to rough handling. LEDs, an audible beep and vibration provide staff with immediate, clear feedback on successful scans, making them easier to use in day-to-day operations.
The series excels particularly in fast and reliable barcode capture. 1D and 2D codes are read reliably even when they are damaged, poorly printed, soiled or located at a greater distance. Depending on the application, the SR, HD, XR and XLR scan variants are available – ranging from standard-range scanning through very small and dense codes to long reading distances of up to around 30 m. The barcode scanners can also read several codes in the field of view at once and organise and output the data in a predefined order.
The Granit Ultra 2100i is the corded version and is particularly suitable for fixed workstations, packing stations, production lines or terminals. The wireless Granit Ultra 2105i offers greater freedom of movement: via Bluetooth, it achieves a line-of-sight range of up to 100 m when used with the Honeywell charging and communication base, and enables up to 100,000 scans per battery charge. This makes it ideal for mobile tasks around shelves, pallets or machinery.
