Datalogic Skorpio X40 & X45

The Datalogic Skorpio X40/X45 is a compact mobile data collection device for warehouses, manufacturing, transport and retail. It has been designed for work environments where a large number of transactions, scans and confirmations need to be carried out reliably. The well-balanced housing fits comfortably in the hand and helps to reduce fatigue during long shifts.

Depending on the task, the device can be used as a classic handheld or with a detachable pistol grip. Three keypad layouts with large, clearly separated keys make it easy to enter quantities, item numbers or confirmations – even whilst wearing gloves. The 4-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus remains easy to read both indoors and outdoors and is robustly built for everyday use.

High-performance 1D/2D scan modules are available for data capture, in standard or extended-range versions. The Datalogic Green Spot scan confirmation indicates directly on the label whether a scan was successful. This eliminates the need to check the screen, speeds up workflows and reduces booking errors during order picking or dispatch.

Android 15, with the prospect of upgrading to Android 19, makes the Skorpio X40/X45 a long-term investment for productive operations. With Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and, on the Skorpio X45, 5G as well, the device remains reliably connected throughout operation. The Qualcomm Dragonwing 4490 octa-core processor, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage provide sufficient performance for modern Android apps, terminal emulation, MDM solutions and Datalogic Connect.

With IP65/IP67 protection and high drop resistance, the Skorpio X40/X45 is designed for daily use in warehouses, manufacturing and logistics – even in environments where dust, moisture or impacts are part of everyday working life.

Existing Skorpio X5 accessories can still be used, making the transition to the new generation of devices easier and ensuring that existing investments in the device pool are protected.
